The survey was conducted in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966. Archeologists from AmaTerra Environmental, Inc. (AmaTerra) visually inspected the entire Area of Potential Effects (APE) and excavated fourteen shovel tests in support of the survey. Approximately 13 acres of the APE were found to have been covered by large quantities of fill material on the surface. No new archeological sites were discovered as a result of the survey and no artifacts were observed within the APE. No artifacts were collected during this survey. AmaTerra recommends that no further archeological work is warranted prior to construction. Text Archeological Survey Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas: Scholar Works @ SFA
