Description
Summary:On the left, White Squirrel of Xast'iye on a mortuary box. This figure is now in the Grand Hall at the Canadian Museum of History. In the centre, Eagle on the Decayed Pole. This pole has been repatriated to the Nisga'a Nation and is on display at the Nisga'a Musuem in Laxgalts'ap (Greenville). On the right, Broken Tree Pole. This pole was destroyed before 1927, likely during the religious revival of 1918 where many poles were cut down and repurposed as building materials or burned.
