From the entry on the A.Y.P.E.: "The Senate, as in Committee of the Whole, proceeded to consider the bill (S. 627) to encourage the holding of an Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition at the city of Seattle, State of Washington, in the year 1909, which had been reported from the Select Committee on Industrial Expositions with amendments" (p. 12).
