With growing geostrategic signifi cance of the Arctic, international attention and interest to the northernmost region of the globe is increasing. The response to the changes is the development of Arctic policy at the national level by the Arctic countries that have direct access to the Arctic waters and between which the Arctic is divided into fi ve sectors of responsibility (Canada, the Kingdom of Denmark, including Greenland and the Faroe Islands, Norway, Russia and the United States),as well by the Arctic countries that have not the direct access (Iceland, Finland and Sweden). The research is devoted to the analysis of strategies, policies and priorities of the Arctic states the circumpolar region. The article gives a brief description of the main documents, which set out the goals, objectives and principles of activity in the region. Параллельно укреплению и росту геостратегического значения Арктики возрастают международное внимание и интерес к самым северным регионам земного шара со стороны различных стран. Реакцией на эти изменения становится выработка арктической политики на национальном уровне как странами - арктическими державами, которые имеют непосредственный выход к арктическим водам и между которыми Арктика поделена на пять секторов ответственности (Канада, Королевство Дания, включая Гренландию и Фарерские острова, Норвегия, Россия и США), так и приарктическими странами (Исландия, Финляндия и Швеция). Исследование посвящено анализу стратегий, политики и приоритетов арктических государств в исследуемом регионе. Дана краткая характеристика основных документов, в которых изложены цели, задачи и принципы деятельности в Арктике.
