Summary:This object was photographed and inventoried during summer 2017 by Jane Esklidsen '19 and Reagan Alley '18. It was uploaded to DLynx during fall 2018. This stonecut print depicts a woman in a black hooded robe. She is sitting on the ground. In front of the woman is a black bowl and a platter with a fish. The woman is reaching into the bowl with a tool. Behind the woman is a pattern that resembles bricks stacked on top of one another. The ground beneath her is black with white dashes. The print rests on top of a piece of cream paper. It is in a blue frame.This print was created by an Inuit artist in the Cape Dorset area during the mid-1960s.
