The objective of the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Program is to support the strengthening of the effectiveness of EU cohesion policy and other sectoral policies and programs under the European Structural Funds and European Investment Funds (ESI funds) as well as national and regional territorial development policies through the production, dissemination and promotion of territorial data covering the entire territory of the 28 Member States and the four partner countries - Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
