As a result, it is difficult to obtain standard rankings for countries. A mathematical evaluation method based on the concept of Pareto-optimal organisation is proposed for this paper. The method is simple and uses a linear programming model. The weights for various measurements are chosen by an objective method and are standard. The method is illustrated with real data from a sample of OECD member countries. healthcare systems; multiple objective decision making; linear programming; international comparisons; Pareto optimisation; standard rankings; statistics; statistical data; optimal organisation; OECD; Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; Australia; Austria; Belgium; Canada; Denmark; Finland; France; Germany; Greece; Hungary; Iceland; Italy; Japan; South Korea; Mexico; Holland; Netherlands; Norway; Poland; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland; USA: United States; business; systems research.
