Kroz ovaj rad se obrađuje tematika financiranja poslovne ideje, odnosno pokretanja poslovanja kroz dostupne financijsko-poticajne izvore. Kroz rad se objasnio koncept financiranja poslovne ideje, također kada poduzetnik pokreće vlastiti posao potrebno je i analizirati poduzetničko okruženje koje utječe na uočavanje i iskorištavanje prilika te pokretanje poslovnog pothvata. Poduzetništvo i sami poduzetnici su svakodnevnica današnjeg života te se iz dana u dan stvaraju nova poduzeća, a samim time i novi poduzetnici. Naglašena je važnost poduzetničkog plana za poduzetnike koji tek ulaze u posao, kao i za poduzetnike koji posluju duži niz godina. Danas, u Republici Hrvatskoj postoji veliki broj poticajnih mjera za sufinanciranje i poticanje poduzetništva, a veliki broj njih dolazi iz europske strategije o poticanju poduzetništva. This paper deals with the topic of financing a business idea, i.e. starting a business through available financial and incentive sources. The paper explained the concept of financing a business idea, also when an entrepreneur starts his own business, it is necessary to analyze the entrepreneurial environment that affects the recognition and exploitation of opportunities and the initiation of a business venture. Entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurs themselves are a daily part of today's life, and new companies are created every day, and thus new entrepreneurs. The importance of a business plan for entrepreneurs who are just entering the business, as well as for entrepreneurs who have been in business for many years, is emphasized. Today, in the Republic of Croatia, there are a large number of incentive measures for co-financing and encouraging entrepreneurship, and a large number of them come from the European strategy on encouraging entrepreneurship.
