Ovaj rad nas pobliže upoznaje sa sve češćim problemom današnjice kojem se u zadnje vrijeme pridodaje dosta važnosti, na njegovu prevenciju, sankcioniranje počinitelja i pomoć žrtvi, a radi se o obiteljskom nasilju. Pridaje mu se dosta važnosti jer su djeca često, ako nisu žrtve, svjedoci nasilja što potencijalno može imati negativan utjecaj na normalan razvoj djeteta, te se smatra da bi jednog dana i oni sami mogli postati počinitelji. Na sljedećim stranicama opisano je tko se sve smatra članom obitelji, kakva je procedura prilikom postupanja policijskih službenika od zaprimanja dojave o obiteljskom nasilju do dolaska na mjesto događaja, po kojim prekršajnim i kaznenim odredbama se sankcioniraju počinitelji te, koje su zaštitne mjere, koja su prava žrtve te koje su dužnosti drugih institucija. This work deals with the domestic violence, a rising problem of everyday life, it’s prevention which is of the major importance, sanctioning of the perpetrators and the help for victims. This problem is especially important because children are often victims of violence that is considered to have a negative influence on their normal development and it is believed that themselves could become perpetrators. The following pages define who is considered as a member of a family, describes police procedure from receiving a report about family violence, states legal provisions that offenders are sanctioned by, as well as protection measures and the rights victims have, and what are the duties of other institutions.
