Ovaj rad se bavi temom o pravima djece u Obiteljskom zakonodavstvu i općenito. Prava djece predstavljaju odnos djeteta s njegovom užom obitelji, a zatim i širom obitelji; iako je na prvom mjestu njegova uža obitelj. Njihovim pravima se bave roditelji, Centar za socijalnu skrb do njihove punoljetnosti, a kasnije oni sami. Iako, postoji i slučajeva gdje djeca zbog nekog problema, bio on mentalne prirode se ne mogu brinuti samostalno o sebi pa i dalje roditelji ili Centar za socijalnu skrb nastavljaju brigu koliko god je to potrebno. Nadalje, u radu će biti objašnjeno detaljno kako su djeca definirana u Republici Hrvatskoj, prema Obiteljskom zakonu. Zatim, koja su sve njihova prava i kako mogu raspolagati tim pravima kroz svoje odrastanje. U radu je opisano i tko sve ima pravo na skrb o djetetu, na brigu o tim pravima ukoliko dijete ne živi s oba roditelja, ako su roditelji rastavljeni i dijete nema oba roditelja. This paper deals with the theme of childrenꞌs rights, family legislation and in general. Childrenꞌs rights are the childꞌs relationship with his immediate family, and then my family although the first of his immediate family. Their rights to deal with parents, Centre for Social Welfare until they come of age, and later theselves. Although, there are also cases where children because of a problem,be it mental nature canꞌt take care of themselves independently but still parents or the Centre of Social Welfare continues to care for as long as necessary. Furthermore, the work will be explained in detail how the children are defined in the Republic of Croatia, according to the family law. Then, of all their rights and how they can dipose of these rights through their growing up. The paper describes and who has the right to care for the child, to care about these rights if the child does not live with both parents, if the parents are divorced and the child does not have both parents.
