Tema ovog završnog rada je uloga Međunarodnog monetarnog fonda u 21 stoljeću. Rad se sastoji od nekoliko cijelina u kojima su objašnjeni osnovni pojmovi, struktura te način djelovanja. MMF je organizacija koja je usmjerena ka pomoći svojim zemljama članicama, ali također i prema riješavanju globalne krize i problema svjetske monetarne politike. Kroz praktičan primjer na Islandu prikazan je način na koji je ta država upala u krizu te putem kojih mjera je uspjela prebroditi krizu. The topic of this thesis is the role of the International Monetary Fund in the 21st century. The paper consists of several units which explain the basic terms, structure of the IMF and their working methods. The IMF is an organization that is geared towards helping its member countries, but also solving the global financial crisis and monetary policy problems in the world. Iceland is used as an example to show how the financial crisis started and the measures through which it managed to overcome the crisis.
