э. The article is devoted to the problem of settling the territory of the Belarusian Lake District (northern part of Belarus) in the late glacial period. This hypothesis is significantly entrenched in Belarusian historiography. Evidence of the absence of Final Paleolithic sites in the north of Belarus and the presence of such sites for the Mesolithic period is used as evidence. Some researchers attribute this to the relatively late departure of the last lake glacier compared to other parts of our country. However, the analysis of a few archeological materials (Pias?anica, Na?ry, etc.), as well as data on parking lots in neighboring Lithuania, Latvia and Russia, allow us to reconsider this position. In our opinion, the small number of sites of the late glacial period on the territory of the Belarusian Lake District is due to the lack of systematic work on their search and study. The organization of such studies, in our opinion, will confirm our opinion about the settlement of northern Belarus in the period ...
