Summary:Globality of tasks for the development of the Arctic region requires a balanced strategy of their solution, emanating from the interconnectedness of national security issues of social and economic development of the Arctic region as a whole. The article used the reports and documents of foreign policy and statistical data on the Arctic zone of Russia.Identified and analyzed in the same legal, environmental and military-strategic problems of the Arctic zone of Russia in the process of globalization. The article reveals the negative aspects of the development of the Arctic zone. The conceptual approach to the development of the Arctic, which is based on the formulation of a number of purposes. Глобальность поставленных задач по освоению Арктического региона требует выработки сбалансированной стратегии их решения, исходящей из взаимосвязанности проблем национальной безопасности государств и социально-экономического развития Арктического региона в целом. В статье использовались доклады, документы внешней политики и статистические данные по Арктической зоне России. Регион очень перспективный с многими не решенными проблемами, которые необходимо решать в ближайшем будущем.Обозначены и проанализированы так же юридические, экологические и военно-стратегические проблемы арктической зоны России в процессе глобализации. В статье выявлены негативные стороны развития Арктической зоны. Предложен концептуальный подход в развитии Арктики, который основывается на постановке решения ряда задач.
