В условиях глобального кризиса и неспокойной политической обстановки в мире Арктика, её богатые ресурсы и выгодное географическое положение становятся стратегически важными для России. В статье большое внимание уделяется аспектам промышленной политики и национальной безопасности в регионе. Мурманская область позиционируется как вероятный потенциальный локомотив роста в социально-экономическом развитии страны. In the context of the global crisis and the turbulent political situation in the world, the Arctic, its rich resources and favorable geographical position becomes strategically important for Russia. In the article a lot of attention is paid to aspects of industrial policy and national security in the region. The Murmansk region is positioned as a credible potential engine of growth in social and economic development of the country.
