Summary: | Complexity or impossibility of organizing galvanic contact be-tween electrodes and earth is a common situation in DC method practice (hard-rock formations, frozen ground, road pavement, etc.). For such conditions the capacitive resistivity (CR) technology was developed. In our article we discuss the comparison of results obtained modern CR equipment (OhmMapper) and conventional modern DC equipment (Syscal Pro) and the potential of investigations using both technologies for engineering investigation in Russian Far North conditions. |
