The human occupation can be dated from a rather old Weichsel, probably just after the Brörup interstadial. The industry has some things in common with the Mousterian of the Ferrassie type. La découverte de Lagurus lagurus associé à Microtus arvalis, Microtus oeconomus-malei, Microtus gregalis et Arvicola cf. terrestris dans les niveaux à silex et ossements de l'abri du Mont-Dol, présente un grand intérêt stratigraphique et paléoclimatique. L'occupation humaine peut être datée d'un Weichsel assez ancien, sans doute juste après l'interstade de Brörup. L'industrie possède des points communs avec le Moustérien de type la Ferrassie. |
