ZUSAMMENFASSUNG Die vom Fischfang abgeleileten Induslrien hängen sehr von den gebrauchten Fangmethoden ab, besonders, von der Zahl der modernen Fisch-dampfer, die bis auf ferne Meere fahren können. Seit einigen Jahren haben die Induslrien die Slufenleüer ihrer Produktion erweilert, indem sie neben den gewôhnlichen Produkten die eingefrorenen eingefiihrt haben : zum Beispiel trockenen und gesalzten Kabeljâu, Fischmehl und Fischöl, Konserven. die die meislen ausgefûhrt werden. Oblgleich aile dièse Taligkeisten besser organi- sierl werden, sind schwebende Problème geblieben, um dem Rohsloff den grofilen Wert zu geben und die Arbeitskräfte in den nicht so begungstiglen Gegenden des Nordens zurückzuhalten. RÉSUMÉ Les industries dérivées de la pêche dépendent beaucoup des méthodes de pêche utilisées et en particulier du nombre de chalutiers modernes pouvant aller pêcher dans des eaux lointaines. Les usines ont élargi depuis quelques années la gamme de leurs productions en introduisant les produits surgelés à côté de produits plus traditionnels : morue séchée et salée, farines et huiles de poissons, conserves. qui sont exportés dans leur grande majorité. Malgré une organisa- lion très poussée de toutes ces activités, des problèmes se posent pour valoriser la matière première au maximum et retenir la main-d'œuvre dans les régions les plus défavorisées du Nord. ABSTRACT The industries derived from fishing in Norway are still depending a great deal on the fishing-methods used and particularly on the number of modern trawlers able to go and fish in distant waters. Since the fifties the factories have been broadening the range of their products by adding frozen food to more traditional products : stockfish, klipfish, meal and oil, canned fish. exported in a large part. In spite of a very elaborate organization of all those activities and of the export-trade, difficulties are arising to valorize the raw-material to a maximum and keep the labour in the least privilegied regions of Nordland.
