Processus morphogénétiques originaux liés à l'hydrolithosphère sur Mars (Morphologic processes in relationship with lithospheric water - hydrolithosphere - on Mars)
Abstract. - Liquid water is concentrated on Mars under the icy upper hydro-lithosphere which is a rigid and probably practically impervious crust. The distribution of the Mars ridges shows a good coïncidence with hydrolithosphere : unlike to moon ridges they are not related to volcanism. Outflows an...

The distribution of the Mars ridges shows a good coïncidence with hydrolithosphere : unlike to moon ridges they are not related to volcanism. Outflows and various geomorphologie features related to sapping by underground aquifers indicate instability of the lithospheric water and of a part of the pervious rocks containing the water under the permafrost.
