Plan of material collecting corresponds to principles of ecological-faunistic investigations. It involves fieldwork in all set natural zones and habitats types, assuming a combination of stationary research with route collecting. Presented in the dataset, occurrences come from 53 geographical points providing about 10 500 records in the dataset with more than 35 000 specimens recorded. This amount of data extends the current presence of Russian spiders on GBIF at 4 times, from 11 000 (excluding iNaturalist observations) to 46 000. The dataset can help to explore regional fauna, local and general species distribution, their monitoring, conservation, phenology, and relations with biotic and abiotic conditions.
