The two radars, named JOYRAD-94 and MiRAC-A, have been consecutively operated at the AWIPEV Atmospheric Observatory in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard. The atmospheric column from 100 m to 12 km above the surface was profiled with a a vertical resolution of 3.2-34 m and a temporal resolution of 2-3 s. The data was post-processed to correct for Doppler aliasing and the radar calibration was adjusted based on a reference radar. The data includes the equivalent radar reflectivity factor, mean Doppler velocity, and skewness and kurtosis of the Doppler spectra. Some technical parameters and flags related to measurement operation, post-processing, and data quality, which could be relevant for some data users, are also provided.
