Intact polar lipids (IPLs) were extracted by a modified Bligh and Dyer extraction. The total lipid extract was seperated via column chromatography (activated Si-column). Displayed data shows the analyzed polar subfraction of the individual sediment intervals as wt. % of the polar fraction.
