This dataset provides the results of the particle image validation. Zooplankton and detritus images were validated with software assistance in Ecotaxa (Picheral, M., Colin, S. & Irisson, J.-O. (2017): EcoTaxa, a tool for the taxonomic classification of images. http://ecotaxa.obs-vlfr.fr.). Depth binned concentrations (individuals per m³) as well as volumes (volume per L) and the average equivalent spherical diameter (ESD) are shown for every identified group and taxon. Note that detritus sub-classes were used for training set creation only. Robust counts of total detritus as well as detritus sub-classes are provided in the detritus clustering file.
