Summary:Meteorological database provided herein derives from the Criosphere 1 remote laboratory. It is the result of a scientific consortium among Rio de Janeiro State University - UERJ, UFRGS and INPE and is the first research module of Brazil to operate autonomously and remotely in Central western Antarctica. In its present configuration, the Criosfera 1 hosts experiments aimed at studying atmospheric chemistry, meteorology and its relationship to the Antarctic ice sheet.
