Emphasis is on investigating the potential problem by locating what is known of the experience, effects, and methods of coping with ORI/stalking in the context of the developmental task of adolescence, identity formation. Seventeen adolescents participated in a survey regarding their experiences of ORI. Obsessive Pursuit - The Victim Short Form (Spitzberg & Cupach, 1997) was the measure used. The measure has 2 subscales: the Pursuit scale (13 items) and the Aggression scale (11 items). A descriptive analysis of the results is reported. At least 4 participants experienced each of the Pursuit items. One or more participants reported having experienced each of the items on the Aggression scale. The adolescents participating in this study have experienced ORI. Text Spitzberg Pacific University Oregon: CommonKnowledge
