In the rural economy of an agricultural birds play a vital role since some birds are beneficial or useful to him and others claim a heavy toll of his produce. During the present investigation 86 bird species were found in summer pearl millet field from which maximum number of bird population observed in Laughing Dove (3117), Yellow Legged Green Pigeon (2314), White throated Kingfisher (1298), Brahminy Kite (1241), Grey Francolin (1200) so on.KEY WORDS: Birds, Population, Pearl millet, Agroecosystem, Patan district.
