カナダ北極圏における氷晶霧と降雪の観測 - 第Ⅱ報 典型的な雪の結晶 －

カナダ北極圏における1994年冬と1995年冬の氷晶霧及び降雪の観測では, 天然の低温度のもとで発生し成長した雪結晶の多数の顕微鏡写真資料を得ることができた。本論文では, その解析の第一段階として, 孫野及び李［6］の雪の結晶の気象学的分類を参考にして, 代表的な整った形の結晶の写真を選び, 現地の高層気象台の観測値から推定したそれらの成長条件を示し, 北極圏の降雪粒子の一般的な特徴を考察した。 From 15 January to 6 February in 1994 and from 4 March to 19 March in 1995 snow crystals were observed at Cambridge Bay and Inuvik, respectively, in Northwest Territories, Canada. Representative single crystals, polycrystals and rimed crystals of snow are classified and their growth conditions were inferred with the help of observations at the Upper Air Stations.
