Fort Hall, Idaho
Fort Hall, built by N.J. Wyeth in 1834, for a furtrading post, was sold to the Hudson Bay Company in 1837 and retained by it until the treaty of 1846. Trails to California branched off here, and attempts were made to divert travel that way.
