Horn's use of the theme of the 'weather' is examined in relation to both her own artistic leagcy and some of the environomental and cultural issues which affect modern life in Iceland. It is argued that this multi-layered artistic project, designed to engage the local community, stands as a modern 'Gesamtkunstwerk' relevant to a local and global audience.
