In the midst of current events and challenges of global politics, the question of security becomes increasingly important. For many countries around the world, peacekeeping operations, military campaigns and other, are very important. For numerous countries, the United Nations and NATO remain a non-competitive resource, due to the fact that these organizations are associated with peace, perspective of war prevention, protection of territorial integrity and stability. The work aims to demonstrate involvement of Georgia in peacekeeping missions. In the countries like Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali and Central African Republic, peacekeeping missions are needed because local government forces have failed to address the challenges. Georgia, as well as many countries around the world, constantly struggle to maintain sovereignty and aspire to become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance, which would mean becoming the part of security system. The aim of the work is to show the benefits of our country by participating in them. NATO membership is one of the most important issues for such a small country like Georgia, nevertheless the alliance has the most difficult conditions for applicant countries. The strength of the alliance is based on strong military potential. The work describes Georgia's efforts to establish itself on world battlefield and attempts of the country to contribute to the strengthening of the world security. Today, Georgia is clearly fulfilling its obligations to the Alliance, which as a result deepens its practical cooperation.
