Description
Summary:Previous studies have shown reduction in quality of life (QOL) after stroke, and also variations among European countries. Decreasing mortality and an aging population leads to increased prevalence of stroke survivors, suggesting a persisting focus on QOL following stroke. This study aims to explore quality of life during the first year of recovery after stroke in a region in North-Norway and a region in Central Denmark.
