This book brings together revised and extended versions of selected papers given at the 2009 conference of the North Atlantic Fisheries History Association (NAFHA) hosted by the Department of History at ODU. Like previous volumes in the Studia Atlantica series, the book includes articles by scholars new to the field as well as by renowned fisheries scientists and historians.
