Summary: | New Year's celebration in Palana’s "Lenin Square," commonly called "the square." Porotova St. is to the left. Camera pans from east to west. Lenin St. junction visible as camera pans across square towards south. Time is a little after 1am. Koryaks and Russians alike enjoy the fireworks and celebrate the New Year with fireworks after bringing in the New Year with family and friends around a table at home.
