Kangin introduces himself before his wife interrupts to get his parka. I (depositor) stop the video but the Tascam audio continued. SredniePakhachiDSC_0291.tif shows Liuda and Valya outside the Kangin house. I photographed several old photos after the video session. SredniePakhachiDSC_0293.tif shows view up street as I pivoted left and walked about 30 m. shows his house. His daughter Nadezhda lives on the far side. Kangin provides a small autobiography. Valya continues with short interviews with his wife Tatiana (seated to his left) and Lidiia (also in parka next to Valya). Some conversation ensues. Ambient audio recording - Left and right channels were swapped from original recording because I had Tascam set incorrectly with mics spread wide. This file has the correct L-R sound space. Birth year is estimate. Son is Stasik, who lives with Ama and Maksim Plepa. Works in Institute for Advanced Teacher Training, Palana. She was born in a yaranga on the tundra. Also fluent (listening, reading, some writing/speaking) in English and Japanese. Alutor level is elementary.
