Emmett Pybus discusses his early interest in physics, interning at Aberdeen Proving Ground, joining the Navy where he learned meteorology, and meeting his wife. He talks about his work in forecasting for pilots, returning to Aberdeen Proving Ground after his military service, becoming involved with high altitude water vapor studies, and various research locales. Pybus explains joining the research faculty at Oklahoma State University in 1969 to work with Herb Jones, listening to sferics and trying to predict storms, and studying the electrical properties of fog. He also comments on his family, his plumbing and electrical business, and settling down in Stillwater.
