Summary: | This propeller was built in 1919 by Buffalo Dry Dock Company, Buffalo, New York. She was owned by U.S. Shipping Board until 1925, when she was sold to Munson Steamship Line, Mobile, Alabama. She was sold to Charles R. McCormick Steamship Company, San Francisco, California in 1928. In 1940, she was sold to Cie. Generale Transatlantique, Paris, France. In 1925, she became "Munami," and in 1940, she became "Lisieux." She was seized by Canadian Government in 1940, with no official number awarded. She foundered off coast of Newfoundland on November 27, 1940. Twelve lives were lost.
