Outlet glaciers

Aerial view across the southeastern edge of the Vatnajokull ice cap. In main portion of ice cap, ash layers are little disturbed by glacier flow. Concentration of debris along margin of ice cap is apparent. In distance, an outlet glacier extends from the ice cap.
