Ocean mixing in the Tropical North East Atlantic Oxygen Minimum Zone

The region of the Oxygen Minimum Zone (OMZ) off West Africa has been subject to attention for the apprehension of further oxygen depletion. Mixing processes play an important role in OMZ dynamics; their observation and quantification helps to learn about gas fluxes in the ocean interior.
