BiPolar beinhaltete ausschließlich eine Forschungs-Bildungs-Kooperation. In BiPolar wurde ein Modulsystem entwickelt, in dem am Beispiel der Polarforschung die Einbindung von SchülerInnen in die Forschung und in die Entwicklung von Forschungsfragen erreicht werden sollte. BiPolar bestand aus vier Modulen, in denen schrittweise die Zusammenarbeit von Wissenschaft und Schule initiiert wurde.
