Summary:Report detailing two high altitude rocket collection experiments to sample particles from noctilucent clouds at Kiruna, Sweden, conducted by the Dudley Observatory in the summer of 1970. Approximately 70% of the particles collected were found to be comprised of two components, and studies of their chemical composition suggested that the high density central component contained a large number of atoms of high atomic weight.
