Nadalje, temeljito su obrađeni visokonaponski i srednjenaponski kabeli te njihovi presjeci. Također smo obradili i slučaj gdje je prikazano kakav utjecaj imaju dielektrični gubici i toplinska zagrijavanja na sami kabel. U par natuknica je rečeno i o čemu sve treba voditi računa prilikom izbora kabela kod polaganja. I za kraj smo pokazali kako se odabire i računa presjek kabela kada je kabel u jednom od dva stanja, ili u kratkom spoju, ili u trajnom pogonu. In this thesis, we have presented different types of power cables with considering to voltage level, and in particular have treated the XLPE cable as one of the most commonly used cables, where all its parts are shown and described in more detail, and some examples are shown of how cables are labeled. Furthermore, the high-voltage and medium-voltage cables and their sections are thoroughly treated. We also covered a case where the effect of dielectric losses and thermal heating on the cable itself is shown. A couple of notes tell you what to look for when laying cables. Finally, we have shown how the cable cross section is selected and calculated when the cable is in one of two states, either in short circuit or in permanent operation. description U ovom radu prikazali smo različite vrste energetskih kabela s obzirom na naponsku razinu, a posebno smo obradili XLPE kabel kao jedan od najčešće korištenih kabela gdje su pobliže prikazani i opisani svi njegovi dijelovi, a također je na par primjera pokazano kako se označavaju kabeli. Također smo obradili i slučaj gdje je prikazano kakav utjecaj imaju dielektrični gubici i toplinska zagrijavanja na sami kabel. I za kraj smo pokazali kako se odabire i računa presjek kabela kada je kabel u jednom od dva stanja, ili u kratkom spoju, ili u trajnom pogonu.
