Porodica Muridae (mišoliki glodavci) jedna je od najbrojnijih i najpoznatijih porodica iz reda Rodentia (glodavci), a u Hrvatskoj je i jedna od najbrojnijih porodica sisavaca općenito. Broji 5 potporodica (od kojih je samo potporodica Murinae prisutna u Hrvatskoj) te preko 700 vrsta. Osim na Antarktici, rasprostranjeni su po cijelom svijetu te nastanjuju razna staništa, a neke vrste su se čak navikle i na suživot s ljudima. Većina vrsta ima sklonište kojemu se vraća (jazbine/gnijezda), najčešće su herbivori, ali mogu biti i karnivori ili omnivori, te su uglavnom aktivni noću. Razmnožavaju se brzo i imaju velik broj potomaka zbog čega i jesu tako uspješna porodica. Na području Hrvatske zabilježeno je 10 vrsta, raspoređenih u 4 roda: Apodemus, Micromys, Mus i Rattus, koje su kroz ovaj pregledni rad ukratko opisane. Od njih 10, dvije vrste su svrstane u Crvenu knjigu sisavaca kao potencijalno ugrožene vrste - miš humkaš i patuljasti miš - dok se ostale vode kao najmanje zabrinjavajuće. The Muridae family (murids) is one of the largest and the most famous families of the order Rodentia (rodents), and in Croatia it is also one of the largerst families of mammals in general. It counts 5 subfamilies (of which only the Murinae subfamily is present in Croatia) and over 700 species. Aside from Antarctica, they are present throughout the whole planet and inhabit a variety of habitats, while some species even got accustomed to life around humans. Majority of the species have a shelter they return to (burrows/nests), they are mostly herbivores, but can also be carnivores or omnivores, and are most often active during the night. They reproduce quickly and have many offspring, which is one of the reasons they are such a succesful family. In Croatia, 10 species were recorded, divided into four genera: Apodemus, Micromys, Mus and Rattus, which are shortly described through this review article.
