Pomorski promet je prijevoz ljudi i robe morskim putem. Sredstvo prijevoza je brod. Cilj ovog završnog rada je statistički prikazati podatke pomorskog putničkog prometa u Republici Hrvatskoj, kao i pobliže objasniti putničke luke i linije u Hrvatskoj. Također, u radu su obrađeni pojmovi sustava pomorskog prometa i njihove poveznice, te sami utjecaj turizma na povećanje pomorskog prometa. Izgradnja hotela, uređene luke i marine, ulaganje u nove proizvode, kvalitetne reklame; jedan su od načina ulaganja i unapređivanja turizma pa tako i samog pomorskog putničkog prometa. Maritime traffic is the transport of people and goods by sea. Instrument of the transport is a vessel. Purpose of this final work is to show statistic informations of maritime passenger traffic in Republic of Croatia, as well as closely explain passenger ports and their lines in Croatia. Also, in the work are discussed the concepts of the maritime transport system and their connections, and the influence of tourism on increasing maritime traffic. Building a hotel, arranged harbours and marines, investing in new products, quality advertisements; are one of the ways of investing and improving of tourism as well as maritime passenger traffic.
