Beskućništvo u Hrvatskoj u stalnom je porastu, a njegova službena definicija, zakonska podloga, regulativa i briga još uvijek je u svojevrsnoj početnoj fazi i bez dostatnog uvida i korespondencije sa stanjem na terenu. Beskućnici su neprepoznati od strane širih društvenih struktura, suočeni s nedovoljnom političkom reprezentacijom i time prepušteni sami sebi i nekolicini civilnih udruga čiji rad je otežan iz gore navedenih razloga. O samim uvjetima života beskućnika/ica, njihovim iskustvima, osobnim aspiracijama i potrebama i teškoćama zna se jako malo i bez tog uvida teško da će političke strukture adekvatno prepoznati, definirati i rješavati ovaj društveni problem. Stoga je ova studija kvalitativnog pristupa s metodom polustrukturiranog intervjua pokušaj doprinosa ovom neistraženom području, a njen cilj usmjeren je u svrhu produbljenja znanja i razumijevanje života beskućnika/ica kroz njihovo subjektivno i refleksivno iskustvo, percepciju i perspektivu. Homelessness in Croatia is steadily increasing and its official definition, legal framework, regulations and concern is still in a kind of early stage and without sufficient insight and correspondence with the situation on the ground. The homeless are unrecognized by the wider social structure, faced with a lack of political representation and thus left alone and to care several civil organizations whose work is difficult due to the above reasons. A single living conditions of homeless, their experiences, personal aspirations and the needs and difficulties are very little known and without this insight political structures will hardly adequately identify, define and solve this social problem. Therefore, this qualitative approach study with semi-structured interview method is attempt to add to this uncharted territory and its aim is focused in order to deepen the knowledge and understanding of the life of the homeless through their subjective and reflective experience, perception and perspective.
