Dan je kratki pregled povijesti zrakoplova na solarni pogon, opisane su značajke komponenata i opreme potrebne za let solarne bespilotne letjelice te je objašnjen princip rada takve letjelice. Na temelju AG-35 aeroprofila, proveden je i proračun aerodinamičkih koeficijenata nužnih za određivanje snage potrebne za horizontalni let. Nakon odabira odgovarajućih solarnih ćelija, izvršen je proračun solarne energije koja je uspoređena sa snagom potrebnom za sami let. Proračuni i konceptualna razrada projekta temeljeni su na primjeru slične konceptualne letjelice Bubble Dancer. Pomoću PVGIS alata određeno je solarno zračenje odabrane solarne ćelije za odabrano geografsko područje koje odgovara gradu Splitu te je konačno donesen zaključak o izvedivosti leta bespilotne letjelice u ovisnosti o godišnjem dobu. The Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of a solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle with the conceptual elaboration of such a project. A brief overview of the history of solar-powered aircraft is given, the characteristics of the components and equipment required for the flight of a solar unmanned aerial vehicle are described, and the principle of operation of such an aircraft is explained. Based on the AG-35 airfoil, the calculation of the aerodynamic coefficients necessary to determine the power required for horizontal flight was also performed. After selecting the appropriate solar cells, a calculation of solar energy was performed, which was compared with the power required for the flight itself. The calculations and conceptual elaboration of the project are based on the example of a similar conceptual aircraft Bubble Dancer. Using PVGIS tools, the solar radiation of the selected solar cell for the selected geographical area corresponding to the city of Split was determined, and a conclusion was finally made on the feasibility of flying a UAV depending on the season.
