Description
Summary:Colour plates illustrate fifty-four Sphagnum taxa, 50 species and 4 subspecies. This constitues all the known peat mosses from Norway including arctic Svalbard. Macroscopic keys to sections and species within the different sections are presented. These keys used in combination with the colour plates and a hand lens should in most cases enable the correct determination of the Norwegian peat mosses in the field.
