Summary:This paper presents the task definition, resources, participating systems, and comparative results for the shared task on word alignment, which was organized as part of the ACL 2005 Workshop on Building and Using Parallel Texts. The shared task included English-Inuktitut, Romanian-English, and English-Hindi sub-tasks, and drew the participation of ten teams from around the world with a total of 50 systems. Le présent article décrit la définition des tâches, les ressources, les systèmes participants et les résultats comparatifs des tâches partagées sur l'alignement des mots, qui a été organisé dans le cadre de l'atelier 2005 de l'ACL, « Building and Using Parallel Texts ». Parmi les tâches partagées, on retrouvait les sous-tâches anglais-inuktitut, roumain-anglais et anglais-hindi. Dix équipes de partout dans le monde ont participé, pour un total de 50 systèmes.
