| Summary: | The authors compare choices of acculturation strategies by the youth of the North and analyze the models of its ethnocultural adaptation. It is shown that the dominant type of the acculturation strategy is the mixed one. It is pointed out that all ethnic groups are quite disposed to intercultural interaction (integration, assimilation), and the integration model of ethnocultural adaptation depends on the level of ethnic consciousness of interacting individuals. This, in the end, determines the degree of adaptation of individuals and groups. В статье на основе сопоставления выбора аккультурационных стратегий молодежью Севера выделяются и анализируются модели ее этнокультурной адаптации. Выявлено доминирование смешанного типа аккультураци- онной стратегии. Подчеркивается, что все этнические группы в достаточно высокой степени расположены к межкультурному взаимодействию (интеграции, ассимиляции). Существует зависимость модели этнокультурной адаптации от уровня сформированности этнического самосознания взаимодействующих индивидов, что обусловливает в конечном итоге и степень адаптированности индивидов и групп.
