NO, tis forbidden, illicit, the pain cannot yet rest But. .the drill in mind, in hand. Can it satisfy? Can it be a means to an end? The end which is inevitable? Behind the walls. which ARE peneterable! YES, and through the portal lies the Promised Land which can relieve the pain of a suffered fan of the ones who sit on the porcelain throne amongst the bustle, tussle and crumple. s:•-' A view is shown! ,: As my princess guides my mind to the union of my flesh with mine • , The urge to purge the spooge. satisfied ! . . . But no more, hush! Be gone! Its time to fly! I died alone Behind the princess' throne. STEPHANIE TINIUM ADARA BONNELL poetry by brad kastendick THE FIRE Shimmering indigo encircles us; our souls glide together. Gentle crystals line your lips as your breath dances in the frigid air— rapid yet rhythmic. Your pale, pacific blue skin is a smooth arctic lake. Your gaze, muted light through frozen walls, so cool, so comforting, lightly waggling its tingling fingers in my soul. As labored as a glaciers drift, my mouth yearns to speak, despite the blissful numbness, and words melt the distance between us. "My winter love" echoes off the chilled, sap-phire walls. Your glide halts and your eyes narrow. Your icy silence scorches my heart. CHRISTINA JACOBSON submit your artwork, poetry, fiction or non-fiction to the concordian at fpo: . . . . . .
