Most recently the organiza-tion has embarked on a campaign centered around protecting the An-tarctic continent. It is Greenpeace's intention to protect Antarctica from various countries' desires to mine its natural resources. The organization claims that the South Pole region is much more susceptible to en-vironmental damage than non-polar areas, so any attempt to exploit An-tarctica's natural wealth would cause severe, long-term ecological hardship. •Classes from page 1 ches, donations from organizations and donations and gifts from local businesses. "Much of the history of Com-muniversity will be researched and written down in the next two years in order to get ready for the 25th anniversary of the program to be held in 1989/' said Jacobson. Teachers and professors come from Moorhead State University, North Dakota State University and Concordia. Other teachers are ex-perts from the community, such as a reporter from The Forum who will be teaching a writing class. Public school teachers from both Fargo and Moorhead can receive course credit for attending Com-muniversity classes. There are two classes that are titled "youth courses." This is a misnomer, accor-ding to Zavoral. These courses, en-titled, "The Greeks, The Romans, and Us" and "Let's Go Fly a Kite!" are open to anyone. Saturday classes are on Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday classes are on Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 3 to 5 p.m. or from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday classes meet from 9 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 5,12,19 and 26.
