Prof. (Lecturing - It has been thru the use of the spectroscope that we have learned much of what we know about the heavenly bodies- Ruby (butting in) - Was that how they found out that there were people on Mars? SCENE II. Scene the same only that Parker is between Ruby and Matilda. Prof. - What is polarized light? "Red" - It's the center of gravity. Miller - It's the Northern Lights. McGuinn - Say, Profesor, do you think Wellman will find the North Pole? Prof. - Yes. There isn't any reason why he should not if things go off as he wants them to. Dave - When is he going to start? Leo - I thot he was going last summer. Magill - Well, but here! What's he going for? Prof. - I don't know, but let us get back to our subject. Miss Thompson, what is a Nicol's Prism? Ruby (aside to Parker) - Mr. Nichol's wife is rather tall isn't she? (Bell rings.) Prof. - Well, it's too bad we can't have a review, but we'll meet at the appointed time. Exit all. P. S. The climax came at the next meeting. DIALOGUE Senior - '09 is an odd numbered class and the members seem to be odd. Junior - '08 is an even numbered class and the members are even, at least some of them are "doubled up" and the rest soon will be. A CONUNDRUM What is the resemblance between Baernstein and the Cyclone Circus? Ans. -Both are "Annual" blow hards. Little Jenny, so small and bright. Has "Prof." Dynes a going right.
